Does anyone know what you need to get started with the rassberry pi? If someone could answer that would be very helpful.
Thanks.
Getting started with the Raspberry Pi is fairly simple, all you need is the Pi itself, a SD card with a suitable OS on it (available from the Raspberry Pi site and many other places, or buy a pre-programmed SD card, there are links to the bundles on the page linked below), a 5V power supply with suitable USB connector, a USB keyboard and mouse, and the right lead to connect it to your TV or monitor. Optionally you will need an ethernet cable or a compatible Wifi dongle. Most of these you can buy in a bundle from Element14, or from companies like Adafruit.
Once you have all the parts, you can follow the guides on the element14 site, the Raspberry Pi website or acquire one of the many books on the subject. On element14, you are more likely to get answers to your questions about the Pi in the Raspberry Pi group where many experienced users hang out and provide help.
Good luck getting started!
