While modding a ATX power supply to be used on the bench, I accidentally shorted the 12 volt (yellow) rail to ground. I have a load (10-ohm, 10watt) across 5 volts, but when I power up, the supply dies after a split second. The load is getting the 5 volts for a second, then dies, the fan starts and dies. Standby reads constant 5 volts still. I don't see any changeable fuses, so is it dead?
Any ideas on where to begin troubleshooting? I don't really care if it works, I'm more interested in finding out what's going on.
Thanks again all.
