Ben Heck Homebrew Challenge

Use a raspberry PI or other such device to control a homebrew "lager" freezer. (generally a chest style freezer with temperature control, the PI would control the power going to the fridge to turn it on and off keeping it a constant programmable temperature.

 

You could double up and create a kegerator that automatically fills beer glasses too!

  • I have used a RaspberryPi/breadboard to set up  my All-Grain Decoction-Mash method;utilizing the PYTHON programming code. Currently<no pun,intended>,I'm using a Johnson digital controller on my home-built two tap-head keezer[Kegerator],but that part of the system is under development? I'm planning to photo-etch a PCB off my laser printer using SMP's and a reflow oven. This,I hope,will make an acceptable cobbler to the RaspberryPI or some other devkit?
