Raspi Portable V2 + Portable NES

Dear Ben Heck,

I love your Raspberry Pi Portable project! But I think there's somethings maybe you should add in a Model B:

A Touchscreen
And an outside accessible SD card slot

And I think you should make a Portable NES. Because I see them on youtube all the time but they don't show you the process of building them! I would enjoy that very much.

I've been doing my own research into a touch screen onto a RasPi and have found K430WQA-V4-F - KENTEC ELECTRONICS K430WQA-V4-F - LCD MODULE, 4.3", 480X272, TOUCH SCREEN | Newark element14 US to be the best deal. However, I haven't found any confirmation that they work on it. And looking at other touchscreen LCD's they show 2-3 extra pcb's needed to plug into the RasPi but don't tell what they are.

My other option I was looking into was the Atrix lapdock. Since DIYers have been repurposing them, the price has shot up to $100-$200 US. I can buy a portable keyboard with built in touchpad and a LCD monitor for less than $50, so there's no bargain there.

I'm glad to see a younger generation getting involved here and I think that's an interesting idea to make a portable NES... (I was 6 when my family was able to afford one) but I wouldn't sell my NES, let alone repurpose it like that. It breaks my heart every time I see someone has done that. Barring a large debate on the ethics of emulators, I'd rather have an emulator on the RasPi.

I would recommend buying a screen with a touch panel that is usb drive, just hook it up to your Pi and then use the raspban to set it up.

It's too bad those USB touchscreens cost as much and more than the Raspberry Pi, have an extra chip/cord to make them work, and use up one of those valuable USB ports.
