I have a project /requirement which I need some (a lot) of guidance on! I am IT savvy and have a Rasberry PI and Aurduno which I have played about with a little, flashing LED’s and spinning motors!
The project I am looking at is for people with limited motor skills to be able to select a video to watch. I am thinking along the lines of four large push buttons which will be fixed to the wall and have pictures of the TV show on it. When pressed this then plays that show on the TV screen. I want to be able to change the shows around and the buttons to give the user more choice.
The playback would need to be quite quick to keep the attention of the user. The buttons could be backlit which go off when pressed and have a timer before another button can be pressed.
So that’s the overview of what I am after! If anyone could offer some advice as to what route I should go down that would be great.
