Hi everyone from this community.
This evening I had an absolutely genius idea
I informed myself a few days ago about the Shield from Nvidia. It looks like an awesome gaming console.
It has android installed and includes a Tegra 4 processor, which delivers the power needed for modern games.
Now... The Raspberry Pi doesn't have the power to play modern mobile games.
But the Shield can also stream PC-Games from your pc to this awesome handheld device. And this is the part which interested me the most...
It uses Nvidias GPU to live stream games from your pc upstairs to the Shield.
I searched the internet for a bit and found out, that someone already made a software to emulate a Shield and stream the games. Can be found here: https://github.com/limelight-stream
My idea is: What about building a mobile Raspberry Pi with a screen and a fancy controller built in, and use Limelight to stream the games.
Regards
Marc
