I'm a managed services provider for small to medium-sized businesses and most of my work takes place out of the office at various client sites. I work a lot on servers and many of them don't have a display and/or keyboard attached to them. I always try to connect to these servers via remote desktop but sometimes the reason I'm working on the server is because it lost a connection to the network. Having to lug around a USB keyboard, USB mouse, 19-inch display and every conceivable connector for different types of servers is a pain. I wish I had something portable that ran on battery power to replace all of the aforementioned stuff.
I saw the Logitech diNovo Mini Bluetooth keyboard and thought, "I wonder if someone can add a small LCD to it?" The diNovo Mini has a USB dongle for its bluetooth connection and then I would only need the display connectors for it. I wonder if the diNovo even has enough power to run an LCD? Any thoughts?
I'm a big fan of the show and look forward to the future builds! Thanks for your efforts.
