Older people can sometimes forget to turn off the stove. This device would scan the stove for hot spots and measure how long the stove has been on and if someone has not been in the room for a certain amount of time, then send an alarm.
The device should talk.
It could keep shopping list and speak back the list.
It could talk back a favorite recipe.
And it could be a timer for cooking.
