I want to ask same questions about the resbarry pie portable laptop
1:what kind of battery is needed to power LCD pie and the key board?
2:what kind of LCD should I use for the laptop?
3:can I cennet more than one hdml cable?
4:should I use a touch pad or a mouse?
I would prefer using a 7" touch as it will act as both i.e display and mouse. You can find them on ebay anywhere from 70-100$ (including keyboard). You can prefer using an HDMI splitter if you want more than one HDMI out(there is also composite video on the RPi). You could use a lithium ion/polymer as power source. In some tabs they have a very slim pack of Li-Po batteries as thin as 3mm. my sugesstion to use a 7.4V in series with a 3.7V battery(all tablet batts) oruse three cell phone batteries. Since you are making a laptop I would prefer using a laptop battery.
