Ideas for TBHS

i had an idea for a soldering iron that works kinda like a glue gun except it shoots solder instead of glue i also have the hardest time soldering stuff and getting just the right amount of solder on them so if you could make this that would be awesome.

I think that solder is much softer, so much so that it may not be amenable to this technique, but I'd be interested in witnessing any experiments.

It may still work if the spool is mounted on the iron handle itself instead of having to travel the distance of the wire.

With that idea like Mr. Hersey said you have to heat the surface you are soldering to for the material to bond also the melted solder would not extrude well enough to have a decent solder joint.
