Raspberry pi portable

hi i wan to build a raspberry pi portable computer which can fit in one's pocket i have decided to use a xbox chatpad as a keyboard and psp analog stick as a mouse, a 4.3'' lcd and a pi with oversized parts removed

but the only thing that bothers me is that how the screen goes in this package i am thinking of sliding it up like a psp go but do not know hoe to make the raise mechanism.

 

any help will be appreciated

  • I would not recommend that you have a sliding screen. This mechanism would be incredibly difficult to engineer. A hinge would be slightly, but not much easier to make. I recommend having a fixed screen and a larger portable. Also Ben Hecks build a pocket computer basic episode has some helpful chatpad hacking information.
