If your LCD uses a regular phono jack for video then you can plug in the flashback the normal way to test. You then can test the places where the wires connect to the Atari and LCD boards with a multimeter. Then just solder shorter wires between the points that are connected. As for power it depends on the screen and battery. If the screen uses a lower voltage than you battery's you need a switching regulator to reduce the voltage, look for one in the store. If it uses a higher voltage then try running it from your battery. If it works, great, if not you need a DC to DC boost regulator. Again try the store.
I think I found one. Will this work?http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0045IIZKU/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I recommend either a psone screen or car reversing monitor like this Enjoydeal Mini 3.5" inch TFT LCD Foldable Monitor Car: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics . I haven't used either of them though so you should check out reviews if possible. Adding av in to a screen is usually not an option (see episode 100 of the Ben heck show). Please post a picture of the screen and I will try and help.
That should be fine, I think Ben heck used this on for his raspberry pi portable so I recommend you watch that for some tips for hacking it.
