Raspberry Pi Automated Desk

This is a project I've had for awhile now. What if you took the pi and had a series of hidden buttons that would change how the desk was used. I.E. 1-flat desk nothing showing. 2-monitor is raised along with keyboard and mouse. 3-speakers are raised and the pi becomes a radio. Other things could be added. You could have a truly multi-purpose work space.

Depends on the size of monitor and keyboard. Mouse can be strapped in. Switches can be attached to the the GPIO and stepper motors could do the heavy lifting. &You should find the flattest speakers possible. once you have the monitor size, you should be able to design it. One main concern of mine, desk is going to be flat. You could also add led strips for a 22nd century tableimage. You cold hide the RPI rather than popping it out.

You could have the monitor and speakers on a stand that comes up from the back but is recessed in while it is stowed away.  you could also do that for the front with the keyboard and mouse to come out from underneath.  Then make two sets of LED lights come out from the corners to use as lamps in a tower form.
