Opposite of portable build

Ben im your no.1 fan, and i know you turn things like consoles into portable things like the Xbox 360 laptop, but how about making something portable into a console like turning a Gameboy Advance into a console that can be connected to a tv or at least a computer monitor or turning anything portable into a console or something cool like that.

This is a really cool idea, no guarantees Ben will take on the challenge, that's up to him but a good idea never the less.

I think it's a great idea. I have a Sega Game Gear which I would still play with if the built-in screen wasn't so dismal.

If Ben does not do it, there is nothing stopping you from doing it yourself, you will get loads of support from the community and you can Blog about it on these forums and share the progress with your fellow community members

I am sure you would get quite a following for a project like this

I think this is a very interesting idea although it's impossible to say whether or not Ben would take on a challenge like this.
Peter has a very good point though, there is nothing stopping you or any engineer from proceeding with this concept.
If you did choose to build upon this idea yourself, I would definitely love to see some concepts and progress reports.

Your idea has intrigued me enough to make my brain run wild with design concepts for a project such as this.

It would'nt irritate me but won't get us to a proper conclusion only on 'a' paticular rather than having different ideas.
