what kind of power socket should i get to replace the old power socket on a playstation 2 slim because i believe my ps2 doesnt want to turn on because of it and i see that the middle rod (i dont know the real name to it) is burned out, i need a brand new power socket for it

what do you mean with "burned"
if the connector has got a high voltage spark so it looks like burned, it is most likely that your ps2 is already dead.
connect your ps2 mainboard directly to the needed walwart and fire it up if it does nothing the connector is not the reason.
Connectors and plugs in general fail only if they are not pluged in correctly, they don´t have any thing to do with the circuit itself, so just connect your parts directly to check if the connector doesn´t make contact.
