The tablet idea

To be honest you did everything just about the way I would except the ssd location in my opinion it's too close to the heat seek therefore be over heat the hard drive. also I would maybe do it with a bigger screen in fact, because I think the idea of tablet does not have to apply to a 11", 13", or 14". they can ,but are not usually, be bigger such as like maybe not huge but just to make it thinner

  • First off, I agree that the Hard drive is a bit to close to the heat.

     

    I think you might have missed the reason behind the "Tablet" XBOX 1.

     

    Someone took the idea and had made a Laptop XBOX 1 (A idea that Ben started) so he set out to make a easily carried and moved around XBOX 1 and a smaller screen would have made it easier to move.

    I really like your idea. but I would make a custom Xbox one case that has a screen on top of it that can change its angle. I would use a hinge and make it open like a lounge. Or even motors that can move the screen when the Xbox is on. They can be controlled by a custom remote.

    Yes it would be time consuming but you won't change the internal components other then adding a way to power the motors. I am a student in Bulgaria and i study Engineering and Electronics so I am not sure if my idea can be accomplished but still i think it has potential.

  • You are very right about the tablet factor and I love it the way he made it. making wider it would ruin the tablet idea.

    but I mean I probably would have failed on the "Tablet" factor , myself , where as he did not. I woulda basically made mobile tv screen.

    Now should we start a pool for to see when he rebuilds this into a smaller size? Tho with the size of the main board and both power supplies I don't see how he can get it much smaller than this.
