Hi,
when i saw your build of the autotracking camera i just begun to think about using an IR-Stick to command the camera, to be in auto tracking mode or not and also to be the tracked device, you can send different commands just with one device, maybe also a command to stop the workoff of ir commands and to enable it again, just for the case that you invent something else which is working on ir-signals. would also be funny if it would look like a sonic screw driver like in a nerdy tv-series....o0(i think you know WHO i´m thinking of).
By using a metal housing it will get pretty unbreakable what i think is good for stuff being used in your shop.
