Hi Ben!
Love the show. So as I was watching your CNC tutorial from last month an then caught the older episode where you built a portable one and it triggered a thought of a building a vinyl record cutting lathe. I bought an old cutter off ebay from the 50's a long time ago but needs a lot of work and it only records @ 78 rpm. The basic idea nowadays is an attachment for your existing turntable. Ideally, I would like something like an Arduino controlled CNC engraving machine but using a platter. Of course The ability to "cut" @ 33, 45, and 78 RPMs is a must. There isn't that many DIY vinyl cutting tutorials. This would be an amazing tool if it can happen fairly cheap. This is the best tutorial so far I've found. https://youtu.be/LODB9NmpKWQ and this looks good https://youtu.be/jR6M27ZdsnQ.
Thanks in advance Ben!
Let's do this!!!
