Game brains: Which other two (or more!) systems could be combined?

First off I must say that I loved the first Game Brains episode, exactly because of what @benheck said in the begining: It's not like simply putting two systems into a single box, but using components of both, combining them into one system.

But obviously that got me wondering which other consoles or computers that share similar components could be combined, even if you couldn't use the same CPU and/or GPU for both? Anything a bit more modern than a Sega Master System?

    As Ben stated in the first part of this series, he chose what he did because it was so universal.  Videogame consoles and computers get a lot more complex as time goes on, though.  That and they use much more varied hardware, many of them even having proprietary chip designs used only in that system.  As you get further from the 80s, a task such as these becomes exponentially more difficult and complex.
