I have a PCB that has a keyed on and off switch that will not turn off Weather I put a new switch on or not does not matter it will not turn off unless I disconnect the battery I check continuity on the PCB and the switch everything appears to be working correctly but it will not turn off

    As a guess it could be U3 or possibly Q10. Try tracing to see which of these the switch is connected to. Also test if the switched signal changes state when the switch is open.

    One side of switch is to ground I'll trace other

    Yeh one side to ground the other I will trace stays on when switch is grounded on one of boards I have that are good cut switch shuts off
