Hi Vincent,
Here is another basic tutorial website that I have found useful.
http://www.electronics-tutorials.ws/
John
... or you might like a book such as John Bird, Electrical and Electronic Principles and Technology.
http://www.allaboutcircuits.com/textbook/
...is a good website, there are the textbook pages and plenty of helpful forum contributions...
There is also Chris Gammels contextual electronics online course, and Daves EEVBlog on youtube. I basically picked up a parallax propeller chip read the data sheet and buit a dev board... then through Dave Jones and Chris Gammel (they have a pod cast Amp Hour). and the EEVBlog forums I have learned more and more about analog.
Here is the link to a PDF
The art of electronics second edition
Its a free download from the university site
And issues Google art of electronics second edition PDF and it will be there
Bare in mind it is over 1000 pages
My printer is going to have a field day
@peterjcs23 I like their helpful Ohm's Law pyramid. As simple as the algebra may be, remembering the three formulas can be tough for beginners.
