Android Motion Recorder? (Like in the Android ADK Episode)

Hey, I asked if Ben was going to be sharing the motion recording Android App that he talked about in the latest epsideo (the Android ADK and Arduino episode). Sadly it looks not.

Does anyone know of any existing apps that can do this? Can anyone whip one up?

I'm going to Orlando in a month and it would be fun/interesting to record the motions of the Universal and Disneyworld rides.

This app named Tricorder (not the one in Android Market): http://handheld.softpedia.com/get/Science/Entertainment/Tricorder-Android-71544.shtml has an accelerometer-plotting function, but I don't see any way to log the data. It would seem that using an Arduino with its associated accelerometers would be the way to go...
