My idea is to build an cheap voice home automation system that would intergrate of the of other project that you have already made on pass shows
Turn on / off lights
Control thermostat (Interface with a digital themostat)
Turn off TV (useful for those who have small childen)
Control from away with a iphone
I know there are alot of devices that are out that can do this but I think you can make these better since you think outside the box with alot of projects that you do.
