Commodore 64 style PC?

Hey guys,

 

I have an old desktop and keyboard and I was hoping to put it all in a nice Commodore style wooden case like Ben's Raspberry Pi. Only problem is I don't have a CNC router or anything else for precise woodworking other than a jigsaw. How I should start this?

    What size is the motherboard in the old desktop?  I have to take apart my Vic20 and a C64C to swap keyboards back since the Vic had some slight issues that won't let it boot, I'm guessing part of it is the screwy keyboard, but, when I do I could figure out approximately how much space is inside a "breadbin" Commodore for you.  The all new Commodore 64 computer is a complete let down because its just a PC inside a custom "breadbin" Commodore 64 case, and not a real Commodore after all.

     

    Hopefully this weekend I'll feel up to working on them, I need to take a mechanical key and a Commodore keytop for the "-" key, from something else and put it in the C64C to get the "-" working again.
