Ben Heck Show Quadracopter dead motor (What went wrong?)

In your first video building the quadracopter, you ran into a problem with one of the motors not activating, but skipped completely past what actually resolved the issue. What ultimately was wrong in the setup?

I think it was the incorrect battery size, we originally had a 4S battery pack hooked up when the ESC and motor were meant for 2-3S.

I think that was it.

It's my first RC project, and I was confused by the fact they don't just label the batteries by voltage!
