Cheap reliable Underwall Touch PC for Home Automation

Has anyone yet build a working cheap 10 to 17 inch touchpanel pc  for underwall instalation to use in Home Automation ?

 

That would be cool Project for the BenHeck Show maybe in a Startrek Theme :-)
