Atmega and direct RFID

msalko

Hi. Is it possible to read and send data to RFID directly trough coil, capacitor and tranzistor? (without any io decoders)

I tryed it before with audio recorder and it worked, but im kinda worried about sinchronization, and potential destruction of rfid chip.

Thanks for any futere advices.

I don't see why not, though I don't see why it's worth it.  It would be a lot of work writing the firmware and tuning the hardware when you can just buy an RFID driver chip for a couple of bucks that self tunes and takes care of the communication for you.

Thanks for your advice. Well i have been working on tool that can hijack or destroy simple numeric lock, or anything with memory comparation. it works on 5m distance as well as on zero distance.

And seeing my school launch sistem gave me idea that it could be realy nice to have something better than mid range IC desintegrator. image (something like sonic screwdriver)

Well im gonna try it anyway so i can see if i can do it.
