Monitor hack question

When I saw Ben's videos, I noticed that he kept the circuit boards close to each other. Will it effect the electro-magnetic field and destroy the led monitor.

    Pretty open ended question, which circuit boards?  Most circuits don't create much of a field, definitely not enough to damage anything.  Things to worry about are relays, solenoids, motors, electromagnets, any type of inductive or mechanical switching load.  Those generate a lot of noise.  They probably won't ruin other electronics nearby if their power supplies are properly isolated, but they may cause them to glitch when those loads are active. 

     

    If you are worried because of your portable Pi, those are all low voltage somewhat clean circuits (besides maybe the LCD backlight), so in your case I wouldn't worry.
