The problem with this, as of today, is that when a file is "Deleted" the computer is simply told that it is not there anymore, but in fact, it still is.
You can have a 100 GB hard drive, and put 100 GB of data on it, then delete the 100 GB, it will look like you have 100 GB of free space, but if you put another 100 GB of data back on the hard drive, then the first 100 GB will be permanently deleted.
Maybe in the future, this will some how be possible, but in the current state of technology, it is not.
