can u make keyboard undetected in games under windows os? (without unplug it)

so it wont annoy joystick movement.

because i found handling in some pc racing games are not as responsive as console...

for example, many NFS title, if we play with keyboard, game is fine, once we plug joystick, car's handling became sluggish...sooooo heavy

 

i hope you understand my question, i desperate finding answer...

    Sluggishness in your game is probably not due to the keyboard hogging resources. Analog joysticks may seem sluggish because they have to be pushed all the way over to go to full scale. You may get much better response by using a game controller that uses 4 buttons for directional control or even a joystick that uses 4 switches instead of an analog joystick.

    I agree, the keyboard has nothing to do with it. Not to mention that games are usually not aware of the keyboard, they either get events from the OS or they don't - they will hook into the event chain anyway.

     

    The fact that it feels sluggish is most likely due to poor coding: either the joystick's driver is not reporting (or reporting incorrectly) all the parameters that the game needs or the game is not properly interpreting the data from the joystick.

     

    You can try tweaking the properties of the joystick from control panel or you could borrow a different joystick from a friend and see if it makes any difference. If everything fails your only option is to contact the game manufacturer and report the problem.
