Hello, I am fairly new to Element14 but have been watching the Ben Heck clips for several months now. in one of those shows Ben was looking for a way to recycle ABS plastic. like the old housings from parts scavenging runs and cases that are no longer needed. My idea for you is simple but kind of hard to impliment, perhaps it might inspire you ...i live in the foot hills of California and one thing about this area is the climate. we get tripple digit temps in the summer and in winter it can dip quite low as well i have seen 14 degres on my front porch. anyways i guess what i am trying to say it that i get to see the affects of a wide range of temps. and one of the things i have noticed is that ABS plastic becomes extreamly brittle just a little below the freezing point of water. back to Bens's question...i think you could crush ABS plastic into a very unifrorm size (1/8" ) if you could chill the plastic before running it through a crusher/shredder... so there is the build ABS recycling machine, something to think about...thank you for reading my idea...Chris
