PS2 power pins

HI Ben, I was making a project with my old playstation 2 and as I was doing it I accidentally ripped off the ribbon cabe that connects to the power and reset buttons, I looked for a replacement cable at my local hardware shop but I couldn't find one anywhere so I removed the zif connecter and I was trying to find the pins that should contact each other in order to power up the PS2 system so could you please tell me which pins are the pins that should contact each other in order to power on the PS2 system? Note that I have the PS2 slim system.

Yea this one does actually work this way but the problem is that I removed the ZIF connector so I can't use this way however if I soldered the pins together from the PS2 to the power button's logic board will it work?

yes it should work as long as you keep the wires in the orientation in the picture.

alright but also as you know that the power buttons logic board has the power switch, so the power switch touches to contact together to power up the ps2, which are the 2 or more contacts that it touches the together so I could manually turn on my ps2 and note that I have the ps2 model 7000 series and remember that I desoldered my zif connector so I no longer can connect a ribbon cable, I know that the way you told me works but I'd like to find something as easy as touching son pins together and install my own switch? Could you please help me, I've been experimenting with this for a really long time. THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
