I was wondering if anybody has a clue how to solder a VGA connector to a HDMI cable.
A wiring diagram or anything would be greatly appreciated.

You will have issues soldering a VGA connector directly to a HDMI connector. The VGA is an analogue standard where HDMI is digital. Yon will need a device that can perform the digital to analogue conversion for you, such as this adapter;
PIVIEW - ELEMENT14 - ADAPTER, HDMI TO VGA, FOR RASPBERRY PI | Farnell element14
okay that is very helpful but i would like to make something like that myself.
or is it very hard?
You could make something yourself. If you choose to pursue this avenue, then the following page may be useful: http://www.analog.com/library/analogDialogue/archives/47-02/HDMI_VGA.html.
For the sake of simplicity you may be better off using a stock adaptor.
i think you're right i probably am gonna buy one
