So i am a freshman in college going to my Computer Science and Engineering degree. I have several projects bottled up in my mind and it would help to have a cnc router and a 3d printer at my disposal to make those projects come to life. So i started building a 3d printer. My question is, if i make it to where i can exchange the extruder with a router bit, could i keep the same configurations and have it work as a router too? or do i need to do something else?
Also this is my first project and don't know exactly what kind of stepper motors i should get, and i dont know what stepper drivers to get or how to program them. So any information on that would be helpful.
