Portable TV

Former Member
Former Member over 11 years ago

Hello my name is Isaac. A couple weeks ago I bought an Amazon Fire TV Stick. While I was In the car and thought "I should make my Fire TV portable to use at I place." Now I know they make Fire tablets, but I wanted to make a portable TV screen it self. Fire TVs require HDMI input sockets; I tried making one, but don't know how to use a regular everyday led screen to turn into a TV screen with a default input to HDMI port. If anyone out there knows how I can make a portable TV with portable power supply please tell me. It would also be nice if it was on "The Ben Heck Show" it self, but know it probably won't be. PS: thought about using a car backup screen and just putting it in to a 3D printed mold with a HDMI (F) to AV (F) and 12v battery, but have not tested it yet.image

What I mean is do you have the LCD in your possession, or was it a picture found on the internet.

    Great!

There are commercially available HDMI to LCD adaptor boards available. If you have any markings on the LCD these could be used to determine if a compatible board is available for your LCD.
