Back in 10/14 Ben did an episode on a rechargeable battery circuit. I have a few questions about that circuit I was hoping someone could answer for me.
1) Would the same circuit work with 7.4v instead of 3.7? I think you just have to change one resistor, but I'm not sure. Oh, and you'd have to charge it off something other than USB, obviously. I'm sure the datasheet has the how-to of it, so I'm just wondering if it would work or not.
2) Can you leave the battery hooked up to the circuit after charging is done, and use it to power another circuit, or would you have to disconnect the battery from there, and reconnect it to your "target" circuit?
3) Is there a through hole alternative?
What makes me ask these questions: I have a circuit I'm building that will require a rechargeable battery. I want to put the whole thing in a project box and seal it up, so the battery needs to be hooked up to both the charger circuit and the circuit I'm planning on running with it.
Thanks in advance!
