avr development board vs arduino

hey ben i saw your avr development board one episode i like that just want to ask is it's working is same like arduino and it's a clone of arduino or not and second thing why don't you have program the  boot loader of arduino from arduino software while you've done it using avr studio first copied and transferred hmm please response

    Hi Happy,

     

    Some advice for you, Be careful while buying chips if you want to burn the Arduino Uno boot loader do by a ATmega328P-PU NOT a ATmega328-PU ther is no physical difference in those but Arduino Uno boot loader will not install in the ATmega328-PU, second advise you will need a operational Arduino to put the boot loader on the empty chip, or other AVR programmers, but the Arduino method is easier, Once the boot loader is installed you can programme your chip via any usb to serial converter..
