So I've recently rebuilt an arcade machine which introduced me into all sorts of aspects of electronics I haven't dealt with before. While working on it and watching the Ben Heck Show, I had an idea but don't know if I'm looking at the impossible.
Ben did a build of an X360, PS3, and WiiU all in one box a while back, but with the new consoles out all of them use BluRay (XBone and PS4 at least, I haven't checked WiiU) or a BluRay equivalent (as the two listed can play bluray movies). Would it then in theory be possible to combine the two consoles into one, but use just a single BluRay drive from one of them to to go both? Possibly bulid some interface that detects the game put in and boots the correct system even?
I realize this could probably be a nightmare if possible, but the question is if this is even possible to begin with or is there something I am unaware of?
