Hi,
I hava a 3-years-old acer TM7514 laptop, its motherboard is broken, works sometimes, requires up to 30 tries to start computer, but lcd works well.
I would use its lcd as an external monitor for my laptop. the lcd is nice, 17".
from that lcd comes approx.40 pin cable for lcd and webcam, which Im not interested to use.
So is it possible to connect that cable to some device or straight to vga cable?
And yes, Iv googled this and found another simiolar topic from this site, but there everyone just recommended for buying a new monitor.
