Possible Idea - Home Server

Home server using either old desktop towers for parts or a raspberry pi and hard drives to make a server bank.

If anyone has any info or ideas please comment, learning from all this.

there are many types of servers and in all seriousness most are not hard to set up. Here are a few of mine using nothing but the Pi/

Network attached storage server
Virtual Private network server
Basic Email Server
A Web Server
A minecraft server

So what type of server do you want to make?

oh thats awesome. Id like to make more of just a network attached storage server but a minecraft server is never a bad thing lol

You can do that by installing PHP, MySQL, Apache and PHPMyAdmin to Raspberry Pi or you can make any old PC laying around by installing XAMPP/LAMP into it.
You can use it to test IOT projects as well as for other stuffs. For details on installation of XAMPP you can check my post over here :
