My Build Idea: Real Life Pokédex

I know that there was an Pokédex app for the 3DS and iOS, but it didn't feel right. So what would be cool to see on the show for us Poknerds is a Pokédex get made. It should work like the ones in the anime and the GUI should look like one of the ones from the games. Then it should have a little hidden music player.

    Well off the bat.....

Raspberry Pi Zero (because awesome & cheaper than Arduino[almost cheaper than ATMEGA328-PU[after time bootloader burning]])

TFT LCD or OLED with SD Slot & Possible FT232H for I/O interface (Or arduino via A-LA-Mode)

VS1053 via SD or Writable Flash

    Tactile Buttons

    Limit Switch (for opening)

    WS2012 for Dexter's "eye"

Maybe a "PIXY" or CMUCAM to try and ID pokemon?

    16Ohm Speaker with Filter

    Tactile Speaker with Filter

    (Color organ with the WS2012?)

Just some ideas, I like the idea and I hope it goes. Pokemon has momentum right now, and it is nice to see a resurgence from my childhood! Even if the idea isn't selected, I am hopeful someone will make this, if not myself. (Though programming is my weaker spot)
