I'm new here and am not an engineer. Just a fan of Ben's videos. I've been looking around the Internet to find out if it's possible to build a Vaus controller out of NES controllers and other applicable parts? So far I haven't found anything concrete. I'm sure if Ben had time in his busy schedule it'd be a piece of cake for him. These controllers are getting more scarce and expensive. I have the Arkanoid cartridge, but not the Vaus controller, and I don't want to spend $50 on one. I'm pretty decent with a soldering iron, but am totally lost when it comes to chip names and basic circuitry lingo. I do however enjoy learning how to make things and just seeing how things work. I think it would be cool to actually try to make a home made functioning Vaus controller at a decent price. I'm sorry if I didn't get the ball rolling very fast, but it seems there are a ton of bright people here who maybe she'd a little light for me.
