First thing is to decided what you want to make. Well you say you are a gamer, perhaps making a Retro-pi emulator so you can play old school game on the big scrren tv or build a Minecraft serrver. Maybe you want to turn a old lcd tv into a smart tv using rasberry pi as a media computer or even adding the pi to your network so you can stream your movie collection to every tv, computer,tablet/ipad, and smarphone on the network. Maybe you want to build a Robot using a old roomba robot and the Pi or Building your own Tablet out of a  Pi.

I have several of these. I bulit a retro Pi and a media computer and I built a wireless streaming media server. Plus I have used Pi to make a network attached storage which I use in conjunction with a Pi running a virtual private network so I can access my files from anywhere there is Internet (My own Private cloud).

So all the videos you saw which ones excited you most?

Sooooo many!! I have been reading a lot on the actual raspberry pi website and see how it can create a basic website server which is something I have actually been interested in.  I am worried about the strength and how much it could actually handle since the site I'm planning on may be a tad bit large.   I am ready to buy more just so I can have more projects and not have only one option.  The emulators seem interesting but I have purchased the new nintendo switch, which I could probably hack at some point for roms. I wish i actually had more tools like the 3d printers that Ben uses on his show.  What I was thinking of doing now I suppose is build a multi-page website that is controlled by Pi.  I'm not sure how many separate Pi's I would need to do it.  If they would all need to be remotely running all the time. How would I manage them to interface with each other.  My general idea is that there would be one page that would gather consumers info when creating an account( male/female, age, email address). The next page would be a kind of narrowing down process( categories breaking to subcategories) linking to external links( sorry for the ambiguity).

Perhaps take a look at this site for an example of a R-Pi web cluster
