Just saw the new Ben Heck show and was surprised at the coincidence! Just before Christmas I completed a project for a good friend of mine that is a HUGE Star Wars fan. He had a framed collection of film cells but could not see them even through the back of the frame was glass. If the frame is against the wall, no light can shine through... So, I designed a circuit that when a button is pressed an RC time constant circuit is activated/charged that causes the LED lights behind the film cells to turn on. Once the capacitor drains to a point based on the RC time constant, the LEDs automatically turn off. A pot allows for adjustment with the default at about 30 seconds.
