in response to the question posed at the end of the recent saturn episode (great job, btw!) i'd just like to put it out there that, if it hasn't been done already, i'd love to see a proper gamecube teardown. or even a gamecube vs xbox benchmark or something like that. there's been various speculation online over the years (example: https://web.archive.org/web/20141216185701/http://www.purevideogames.net/blog/?p=479 ) that the gamecube is actually on par with or even more powerful than the original xbox and nintendo just downplayed its specs whereas microsoft hyperbolized theres. not sure if anyone else would want this, but it's an episode i'd love to see, so i figured i'd make this a discussion and see if anyone else has interest.
