I have an episode idea, since I have some components lying around that are just getting old.
A while back my toddler spilled milk on my Macbook pro. The laptop was just still running but I need to clean the internals. So I got out my isopropyl alcohol and went to town. Well, it turns out either I messed some things up or the milk finally won, because the laptops display stop working. Now I know its not the actually display because I was able to test on another laptop that the display is good. Its the lvds connector on the board or some pieces after that.
Long story short I live in the suburbs of Madison and I was wondering if you guys would help me building an iMac using 3D printed parts and a monitor?
Maybe an arduino to turn on the monitor and the macbook, when a button is pressed?
Maybe even rig up the battery to still power the monitor when unplugged.
The mini display port connector still works so this is how we could get it on the monitor.
Keep up the good work everyone love watching everything you post on youtube!!!!
Just thought this was a unique case that might be a cool episode, and I was hoping to get an onsite visit.
