A killer episode, I really enjoyed it! :-) And to answer your question at the end about giving up if something doesn't go right. well I'm trying to design a barebones small as I can, Arduino compatible board. Something that I can just throw into projects and not have to use the UNO board. but I'm putting a lot of time and effort into a perfboard design, and trying to make it small at the same time, that it seems like a waste of time with all the hand wearing I'm doing. I've done small boards before for shields which all came out fine, but trying to make my own bare bones Arduino even smaller it's hard. That's why I also agree with what Ben said, about handwiring a perfboard or having your pcbs manufactured and pay the price. That's the dilemma I'm in right now. :-)
