I intend to make a video that shows me creating a working handheld portable gaming device. I will be hacking a cloned NES console and giving it a well-needed new lease on life, in the form of a cool little portable! I will post the video on the element14 Community site before 9:00 am CST on April 2, 2018. If my video is selected as one of the top ten submissions, I will receive $500.00 USD (yay!)
a little about myself: I dabbled in multiple music and sound related disciplines before landing in the video game industry as a "sound guy". As much fun as it is (...most of the time), my creative itch was still ever-present, and rediscovering my life long passion for electronics was how I went about metaphorically scratching it. Combining my background in games and audio, the majority of my personal hacks and projects fall somewhere between either category...sometimes both! I'm having a lot of fun with my project, and I wish everyone luck with theirs!
