OH, thats a tricky one, my system does not do stereoskopy, but I think andywest might be able to answer that as he built a Stereoskopic VR system in another e14presents episode!

    Oh got your point.
Lets say I am thinking of using a 7"LCD as display for Rpi which will be rendering a VR module on Chromium.
Can you guide me on how to divide the screen into 2 parts as stereoscopic outputs to get VR mode?

this is entirely dependent on you setup distance to face width of eyes, the only wyy to tell ist trying out different versions until it fits for your particular head and application.also keep in mind that tiny differences can make you very dizzy quickly.

that i whay I used an off the shelf fpv headset as those thing were already fiogured out for me.

Yeah I am using RPi 4 8 GB RAM for HMD. So was confused with getting a 7 inch LCD panel or FPV googles.
Is 7 inch too much for normal application of VR or 5 inch is also good?

you can use whatever scree nyou want, but keep in mind that it needs t osuit your view and you need to feed the signal into it.
so it may end up beeing more expensive or uncomfortable to view.

you should als owatch the version two I made on element14presents a while back. it may help you in designing your own version.

Also by this time its worth trying  examining a RPI4

Hi sir, I am thinking of using 7 inch LCD screen as display monitor instead of fpv googles, is it ok in terms of cost and design?
