I've wanted a 12V step-up converter schematic for a while, but many of what I have found are low wattage (2 watts or so). Yours is said to be 12V at 0.8 Amp, if memory serves, which may be sufficient to power some 12V LCD screens as well as other 12V lines on portable console projects. Your schematic would be useful for those of us trying to use older 12V 4:3 aspect ration screens with projects that don't need the full 12V (older 7805-powered projects that would use 7.2V batteries in parallel come to mind).
It would also be nice to have a schematic for a 7.2V battery charging circuit, but I understand that to be different for each battery type.
